BAUM, A.W. - Aus Wundersamen Garten. Zehn Radierungen.
Verlegt von Hilmar Kalliefe in der Graphik-Mappe [c1920?]. 350x275mm portfolio of publisher's cloth backed patterned boards titled in gilt; ten etchings (image size 93x70mm), loose as issued; each etching signed, numbered '1' and titled in pencil. A 1922 Christmas gift inscription from (?) Roubauer inside the front cover. ¶ Was more than one copy of this printed? I can't find a record of it anywhere - which seems inexplicable given the charm and proficiency of these fantasias of miniscule life. Baum is credited as the illustrator of a couple of books published in Berlin in the mid twenties but all else remains unknown to me.
